For those who are fond of the theater, Williamsburg has its own community theater company, Williamsburg Players that feature musicals, plays, and other special events! Snag a ticket and watch the community bring to life one of many theater favorites. Celebrate the holiday spirit with the Grand Illumination, where Williamsburg becomes an illuminated wonder. For three weekends in December,holiday festivities will take place. On Friday evenings, come together in Market Square to enjoy the Procession of the Yule Log complete with holiday songs and stories. On Saturday evenings, see a presentation of the original holiday story, listen to music, and see Father Christmas with the evening rounded out with a fantastic firework show!
On every second Sunday of the month, March through December, make sure to check out Williamsburg’s own Art & Street Festival! Walk the streets of Colonial Williamsburg and check out the different art, handicrafts, music, and family-friendly atmosphere. There is plenty to do for all ages and always something new to see!
